MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAMS

Evolutions Treatment Center: Licensed Mental Health Programs

Here at Evolutions, we have incorporated the latest evidence-based psychological and behavioral therapies in order to provide the best in class outpatient treatment services for mental health disorders. Our experienced clinicians are well-equipped to diagnose and treat illnesses such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, PTSD, trauma-induced mental illnesses, and personality/thought disorders. If you think you may be suffering from a mental illness, regardless if you’ve received a diagnosis or not, Evolutions is more than capable of helping you stabilize and recover from these serious disorders.

According to the most recently published data by Mental Health America (MHA) in their State of Mental Health in America 2018 survey, more than 43 million Americans suffer from some form of  mental health disorder.  With 18% of adult Americans dealing with a mental illness of some kind, you are not alone in your struggle with mental health. The stigma surrounding mental illnesses has evaporated from society for the most part, so you need not feel any shame regarding your need for assistance with restoring a healthy state of mind. Over four million adults are living with an anxiety disorder, and 16 million adults live with a major depression disorder. Over nine and a half million American adults have reported experiencing suicidal thoughts at some point in their life. Nearly half of those struggling with a mental health disorder are also dealing with a co-occurring substance abuse disorder. Unfortunately, 58% of adults struggling with mental illness receive no treatment and needlessly live with such difficulties. Mental health conditions are able to be treated and successfully managed, but taking that first step and asking for help is absolutely necessary to recover from these serious illnesses.

As a dually licensed center for the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders, Evolutions Treatment Center is fully staffed with a team of advanced level professionals ready to help you manage your mental health diagnoses. MHA data reveals an alarming shortage of mental health providers in over 4,000 areas across the US, leaving 110  million people underserved in this crucial area of health and wellness. Sadly, Florida ranks as the 43rd lowest state in terms of mental health provider availability. At Evolutions, we’re seeking to improve these statistics, offering clients a complete multi-disciplinary team of addiction and mental health professionals whose passions are helping others recover from their mental health disorders.  Our licensed and certified clinical staff partner with patients and their families, working with them to develop an individualized care plan which will be acted upon in our safe, comfortable inpatient facilities.

Our Short Term and Long Term Programs

We offer a full spectrum of short and long term mental health programs to meet an individual patient’s needs. These programs include partial hospitalization programs (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and outpatient programs (OP).

Our short term programs are approximately 30 days in length and focus on assessment and stabilization of mental health disorders. Our long term programs range from 30 days to six months or longer depending on a client’s progress and needs, offering the ability to gradually decrease the amount of daily and weekly clinical care as treatment milestones are reached.

Our Mental Health PHP Programs

Our mental health PHP programs offer full day treatment of at least five hours per day from five to seven days per week. This partial hospitalization program is the most comprehensive outpatient program available and utilizes a multidisciplinary team of qualified professionals including board-certified psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, and licensed counselors whose goal is helping you heal the underlying causes of your mental illnesses. PHP offers an intensive treatment experience without excessive disruption of an individual’s life. You have the option of continuing to reside at home while receiving this level of care; alternatively, supportive housing is available on an as-needed basis when clinically appropriate.

In addition to numerous ancillary services, this intensive program includes the following:

  • Psychiatric evaluation with ongoing weekly follow-up, medication management sessions, and oversight by one of our board certified psychiatrists.

  • Complete medical history assessment and physical evaluation, follow-up care by our MD Internist when necessary for medical issues and complications to be properly assessed and addressed.

  • Assessment, oversight, and coordination of care by one of our licensed psychologists.

  • Bio-psychosocial assessment resulting in a comprehensive care plan which addresses all facets of your mental, physical, and emotional health.

  • Intensive process and evidence based specialty group therapy sessions.

  • Individual therapy by a licensed clinician.

  • Family therapy by a licensed clinician.

  • Case management and continuing care planning by our professional team

Our Mental Health IOP Programs

Our mental health IOP programs offer daily care of at least three hours per day from three to five days per week. This intensive outpatient program is a step down from our PHP level of care and offers a less restrictive and more flexible treatment environment. Patients can transfer from PHP to IOP based on their progress as assessed by their clinical team, or enter IOP directly if medically appropriate for their situation. Patients continue to have access to a full range of treatment professionals, albeit with less frequent individual sessions.

In addition to assistance and support with any ongoing medical or societal issues, this intense program includes the following:

  • Oversight by one of our board certified psychiatrists with optional psychiatric evaluation and weekly follow up sessions based on clinical need.

  • Assessment, oversight, and coordination of care by one of our licensed psychologists.

  • Bio-psychosocial assessment resulting in a comprehensive care plan which addresses all facets of your mental, physical, and emotional health.

  • Intensive process and evidenced based specialty group therapy sessions.

  • Individual therapy by a licensed clinician.

  • Family therapy by a licensed clinician.

  • Case management and continuing care planning by our professional team

Our Mental Health OP Programs

Our mental health OP programs offer daily care ranging from one to nine hours per week. Outpatient groups run from 1 to 2 hours each, focusing on specialty topics relating to obstacles encountered by clients in their recovery, and are designed to relate to our clients in terms of their progress in recovery. This level of care is useful as a step down from the IOP level of care, enabling a gentle transition to life outside of the clinical setting while securing those therapeutic gains made in previous levels of care. Alternatively, many clients who have not previously enrolled in our continuum of care are best served by our outpatient program based on our clinical team’s assessment of their recovery status. Any service offered in our PHP or IOP programs can be included in your care plan as part of your outpatient treatment.

Our outpatient program includes the following:

  • Assessment, oversight, and coordination of care by one of our licensed psychologists.

  • Bio-psychosocial assessment resulting in a comprehensive care plan which addresses all facets of your mental, physical, and emotional health.

  • Intensive process and evidenced-based specialty group therapy sessions incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mood disorder groups, psycho-education, trauma groups, and mindfulness training.

  • Individual therapy by a licensed clinician.
